Who is the course for ?
This course is for anyone who
is interested in how to use Chinese Herbal Medicine for musculoskeletal ailments, sports injury and traumatic injury, bruises
and sore muscles, to stop pain, reduce
swelling and inflammation and disperse blood stagnation and
act as an It would be
relevant for all acupuncturists, osteopaths and
chiropractic practitioners as well as massage and other types of body
workers.
This course would be excellent training for people who have done our Spinal
Acupuncture course, our Body Acupuncture course or our Acupressure
course. It would complement these
systems, the herbs could be applied as a balm after the treatment to
the affected area. Or the patient could drink them as a herbal tea or
as a medicinal wine to heal them from the inside.
Martial artists who get bruising and bone fractures in their training would also benefit from this course. There is a specialized aspect of martial arts training called Iron Palm and another aspect called Iron Body. These training methods use a formula called Dit da jow which I am teaching on this course.

Chinese Herbal Medicine 1 Day CPD Course
The day begins with a
theoretical explanation of yin and yang problems with the joints, TCM
and qi gong
treatment methods for joint and musculo-skeletal problems and how the
dit da
jow chinese herbal medicine formula works.
Herb samples and practical explanation for the preparation and use of
the dit da jow chinese herbal medicine formula for the treatment of
bone, joint and musculo-skeletal problems and sports injuries will be
taught. How to use the herbs for both internal and external treatments
will also be explained.

published a
book listing 150 of the most commonly used herbs in Chinese medicine.
The book says:

The Lecturer
Paul Brecher BA FAcS MPCHM
studied at The Fook Sang Acupuncture and
Chinese Herbal Practitioners Training College where he was taught by
the
famous Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine Dr Bernard K L
Lee from Canton in China.
Paul is the Principal of The College of Chinese Medicine and has been
involved with the Chinese martial and healing arts for the last 30
years. He is 4th Degree Senior London Instructor of the WTBA, an
international Chinese martial and healing arts organization. He has
been teaching in London since 1990 and his ten instructional DVDs and
eight books on the Chinese healing and martial arts have been
translated into numerous languages and are on sale internationally.
Paul was also invited to be the editor of the English language version
of the Chinese governments famous health promoting Qi Gong book
'Knocking at the Gate of Life'. Paul has been in the national press, on
radio and on TV many times explaining and demonstrating the many great
benefits of the Chinese martial and healing arts.
